Single Film Width
Thanks to Elixa®’s super-stretch technology, the Elixa SPE 21 can wrap products of any size using film with a single roll width of 280 mm. The machine automatically recognizes the product dimensions and, by maintaining a constant film width, calculates the required length for optimal wrapping. This ensures material savings and reduced environmental impact.
Film Roll Change in Less Than 30”
The roll change is performed in less than 30 seconds and is easy, requiring no special equipment. In addition to the wrapping machine’s configuration, replacement is further facilitated by the reduced weight of its stretch film rolls, which always feature an optimized thickness-to-yield ratio, offering material savings and environmental benefits.
Maximum Operator Safety
The Elixa SPE 21 complies with European Union Directive 2006/42/EC. The machine features smooth lines without sharp corners or edges, while moving, hot, or sharp parts are protected by non-bypassable safety devices.
Programmable Standby Mode and Minimal Consumption
The programmable standby mode of the Elixa SPE 21 allows for the machine’s shutdown to be adjusted according to production needs and methods, minimizing energy consumption and environmental footprint. Furthermore, the Elixa SPE 21 does not require or use compressed air.
