Automatic Linear Capping Machine

The aforementioned machine is suitable for sealing glass containers with twist-off caps.
Main features:
– Conveyor belt with AISI 304 table-top chain mounted with adjustable side guides, driven by a geared motor managed by an inverter.
– Head equipped with an inspection door
– Side belts for product traction and stability.
– Steam injection unit: equipped with an electrovalve for automatic closure when the inspection door opens, it distributes steam into the space between the caps and the container’s thread to soften the gasket and remove air from the container’s head space; in this way, the container’s headspace is evacuated after sealing.
– Sealing unit with variable speed flat belts.
– The cap release unit and the screwing unit are independently adjustable.
– The belts are driven by geared motors managed by an inverter.
– The above movements are synchronized by a PLC.
– Head lifting system via an electromechanical unit with automatic maximum and minimum height safety devices for adjusting the head’s height according to the jars.
– Automatic cap feeder equipped with a hopper and driven by a motor with independently adjustable speed. The feeder orientates and transports the caps towards the release unit where they are collected by the jar. A control system manages the machine according to the cap flow in the feeder as follows: “Too full” in the cap channel = feeder shutdown, “Too empty” in the cap channel = machine shutdown, “cap supply” = automatic machine restart.
– Electrical control panel with low-voltage auxiliary circuits, equipped with: an inverter for controlling the machine’s production speed, ramp-up speed, and ramp-down speed, a PLC, an operator panel with a 7” touchscreen, and a unit allowing remote connection, manufactured according to safety standards and equipped with the necessary controls and safety devices required for the machine’s operation.
– The machine is adjustable in all its parts for processing twist-off caps and glass containers of different dimensions.
– It is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, except for certain components made of materials suitable for their proper function.
– No operator intervention is required after startup and initial adjustment.

Magnetic Feeder

Magnetic feeder for twist-off caps, consisting of:

  • Base and feeding hopper made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
  • Vertical magnetic elevator with a vipla belt, which transports the caps towards the descent guide. Subsequently, the caps are directed to the release unit, from where they are picked up by the containers.
  • The prevention of incorrectly oriented caps is ensured by 3 control and rejection units, which, with a lateral air blast, remove misaligned caps and return them to the hopper.
  • First control unit with a photocell, for sorting and rejecting overlapping caps.
  • Second control unit with a proximity sensor, for rejecting incorrectly oriented caps.
  • Third control unit with a proximity sensor, for additional checking of possible presence of incorrectly oriented caps and their rejection.
  • Rejection of unsuitable caps via a lateral air blast and their return to the hopper.
  • The control system manages the machine's operation based on the cap flow, as follows:
  • “Overfill” control in the cap feeding guide = magnetic feeder shutdown.
  • “Low feed” control in the cap feeding guide = machine shutdown.
  • Cap supply = automatic machine restart.
  • The control system regulates the machine's operation according to the cap flow.
  • Connection guide to the capping machine.
  • Drive via adjustable speed motor.
  • Unit for remote connection.
  • Constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, except for certain components made of different materials suitable for their function.
  • The machine is adjustable in all its parts to handle twist-off caps and glass containers of different dimensions.
